What a fun project this was!  We got to work with a great team of people to bring a Baker / Designer's ideas to life.  Once we reviewed all of the needs - we then had a lot of organization to do and much planning.  Working through the creative ideas and figuring out what would and would not work was a challenge, but one that we accepted very willingly.  The team really needed to come together to work through the order of shooting the cakes, figuring out the timing of the prep, baking, decorating both the set AND the cakes themselves.

All of it was like a puzzle - and you can either get stressed out by the puzzle or you use it as a challenge.  We accepted the challenge and had a great time problem solving the amount of ingredients to buy, the fridge space needed, the cooking and decorating times, the multiple sets - the camera angles - the lighting and keeping it all fresh and vibrant and not getting jaded by the last slice.  By the end, we all agreed - let the all eat CAKE!
