About Heath

It was a love of photography that inspired Heath Robbins to leave his job as an agency executive and travel the world with a camera in hand. More than twenty years later, it is his love for food, people, and making pictures, that continues to fuel his commercial photography career with focus and passion. For every client and for every shoot, Heath sets out to capture moments, tastes, and emotions that pull people out of their everyday, and straight into the moments that he creates.

Alta

So I went from Cambodia in February, to Alta Utah in March! We hit Alta right after a 22" snowstorm that fell 48 hours before and then had 4 days of blue sky 40 degree weather. You cant ask for a whole lot more.

This year I went with my two brothers Tom and Chris and Tom's son Peter along with a couple of his friends. Now I have been skiing for 37 years and raced for all of my high school years but these kids put me and my brothers to shame. I guess age tends to slow down your desire to jump off 25 ft cliffs.

Chris and my tracks on East Castle. They are the two on the left that go through the chute

Chris with the sweet telemark turn!

Here's what I mean about Peter. He landed all the way down on the right hand side of this image.

We held our own on the steeps however....
