About Heath

It was a love of photography that inspired Heath Robbins to leave his job as an agency executive and travel the world with a camera in hand. More than twenty years later, it is his love for food, people, and making pictures, that continues to fuel his commercial photography career with focus and passion. For every client and for every shoot, Heath sets out to capture moments, tastes, and emotions that pull people out of their everyday, and straight into the moments that he creates.

Studio Construction

Lots of people who come to the studio ask how long I've been here and what was it before I got here. Well, I actually documented a good portion of the construction. It was great to see the transformation and the vision of what I wanted, actually come to life. Before me it was a bunch of offices with a lowered ceiling and lots of cubicles. They had a long corridor for storage outside their insulated offices which is now where our desks are. I documented up to the point where the painting started to happen and then they began the kitchen construction (which is a story for another day...). The whole process you see here took about three months.

You can see the finished studio on the website and in the next couple of weeks that section will be updated as well because we have added lots of furniture, a prop room and dressing area.
