Wordplay!!

All the entries are in! We got over 500 fantastic wordplays, some I never would have thought of...ever! They are all so creative. Thanks to everyone who played it sounded like all of you had a lot of fun with it, which, of course is the whole point.
We will be giving them to the judges next week and will keep you updated on their progress in selecting the winner. While there will only be one itouch winner (this time), I can assure you we will probably shoot a bunch of these... There's no way I could resist.

Roller Derby!

We produced another shot for one of our HR promotions last week. We had so much fun shooting this one and everyone involved did a tremendous job! Many thanks to Alisa, Michelle and Hilary from Team Artists for the awesome hair & make up and wardrobe, it was all perfect. Also I couldn't have asked for better models, Gianna, Kelly, Vanessa, Cherstin, Caitlin and Nomin my Roller Derby girls and let's not forget Dan, my ref, who patiently lay unconscious for the better part of the shoot.
Talent, hair& make up and wardrobe were the key to this shoot. We needed some beautiful women to dress up in outlandish costumes and then act like they wanted to kill each other. Other than a little direction on my part the only trick to that was to tighten up all the roller skates so they didn't fall down every other take, the rest was all up to them.
We spent a lot of time looking for a location for this one. Apparently the only banked roller derby track in the country is in Texas and since this was on my dime I opted to find and transform something a little closer. All we could find around here were flat tracks that were created in high school gyms but that wasn't the scene I had in mind. Thanks to Jackie, one of my most resourceful assistants, she found an athletic track right here in Boston and all it needed was a little lighting and post production work. Thanks to Mike, who is our photoshop genius, that was no problem either.
So here are some of the production stills from the shoot and the final version of the image.

Dana Farber

For those of you following my blog, I made an entry last year about an image we donated to Dana Farber. It was an image of a snowy day in the Public gardens and they used it for a holiday card to raise money. I am really pleased to announce that the image made them $518,282 and was the second highest selling card they have had. We are so proud to be a part of raising money for them and look forward to continuing to contribute to their cause. For those of you who may have bought some of the cards thank you for your support.
Word Play Contest-the entries are rolling in!

We're thrilled to report that our toucHReward word play contest has yielded hundreds of wonderfully creative entries and they continue to roll in! Heath's mind is already spinning with the ideas of many inspired food and lifestyle images. We can't wait to see which one our judges choose! By the way, I'd like to give a shout-out to Dan Stewart, Chris Sheldon and Tracy Maidment who will have the tougHRoll of selecting a winner. -Jenna, for Heath who is on a much needed vacation this week
